notice you can see changes very early on in this picture especially with the sky.

Graph picture 1 results:


as you can see from the graph shows picture 1  with dithering ( blue) and without dithering (red) being compared against size in kb's and 256 color pallete.
you can see that the compression and color are effected and alters the picture. The best from these i would pick picture 1 with 32 color pallete and dithering for best quality.

Graph picture 2 results:


This is results for picture 2 and as you can see there seems to be a steady trand happening. as a result it would be hard to recommend a picture but overall i think picture 2 pallete 32 dithering.

this is similar to my previous picture in all of the inclines are roughly equal in differences. again i would probaby pick picture 3 color pallete 32 and with dithering as it is the best of both worlds.


Conclusion:

From doing this assignment i found that compression and quality are hard to have the best in both. but from the techniques i have learnt in class and from doing this , i concluded that the size of the image and its color pallete can be determined with and with out dithering function and could find a balanced outcome to determine the right picture with both good quality and compression size. (results above). I have compare each image above with and with out dithering and viewers can see the differnet effects on each image. overall in some images the quality is better to see than others until furthur compression or reduction of color palletes are undertaken, including with and witout dithering.
